Refitting the Smokebox

Best way not to loose the parts is to put it back together. Here the smokebox is going on

Cab Sides

Next on were the cab sides

Cab top

Next we brougt the wagon with the cab roof in and lifted it

Where do the chains go

Getting the roof to balance on the hoist

It Will Fit!!!!

The sides needed a bit of persuasion

Going Back Together

The engine was shunted aside to let the tank under the hoist

Colonel

Half of the shunt was done with the Colonel in smoke screen mode

Lifting the tank

The tank is lifted by the handrails an the extra brackets at the front

Back together

With the tank on its looks more complete

Something Missing

Looks complete but there is something missing

Its Hollow

A look in the smokebox shows just how empty it is

Stores Tent

Bits not fitted back will live in the mobile stores tent. It will be kept inside but the sheet will keep it dry if it has to go outside

On the 3 O'Clock

You have to look closely for the missing bit
