Welcome to the web site that tells the story of the Festiniog Railway Company's locomotive Blanche and the group of volunteers that look after her.  They are known as RicketRescue.                           

	It's ages since this website got updated but that is now being worked on. For a start we've added a status box below. April 2008 24/04/08 Out of Traffic At last Blanche is getting the long overdue chassis overhaul and is in the air off her wheels on 2 road at Boston Lodge. Plan is for a return to traffic in early May but its not fixed yet.
Updates to the site are being worked on as time allows and will be published as a full update in due course. I will try to keep the status page updated but not at the expense of pestering the works staff to often.

May 08 = the first part of an upgrade to the site has been completed by moving to a new web host which will allow us to improve the site no end as time allows
