At long last Blanche is getting a much needed overhaul of her chassis

Blanche is up in the air in 2 road of the New Erecting Shop at Boston Lodge with her wheels out for a complete overhaul of her running gear.

 

	This shows one of the horns being checked for wear. These have been removed to be machined on the milling machine		Bits of the valve gear on the bench at the end of the shed
	The boiler has had its annual inspection at the same time		The rods are stored leaning against the bench pending having the brasses overhauled
	The eccentrics have been cleaned up and painted		The rods are having their brasses refurbished
	The back buffer beam has been replaced too
